Meet The Maker

Jamdani weaving has been passed down for generations among artisans in West Bengal. Families have dedicated their lives to perfecting this intricate craft, preserving a tradition that dates back centuries.

Technique

Jamdani is a time-intensive handloom weaving technique where motifs are meticulously added using a supplementary weft, creating patterns that seem to float on fine muslin. Each piece is woven by hand without tracing designs on the fabric, making every piece truly unique.

Where It's Made

Handwoven in West Bengal, India, Jamdani has been recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage. Our cushions are crafted on traditional pit looms and dyed using eco-friendly methods like tea dyeing and azo-free dyes.

No two pieces are alike—each carries the unique touch of the hands that created it. The slight variations in print and texture are a beautiful reminder of its handmade journey.
