Handwoven by a family of artisans in Bhujodi, Gujarat. Weaving has been their craft for generations, passed down through their ancestors. Their entire family—brothers, wives, and relatives—participate in the weaving process, ensuring that this tradition continues.
Technique
Kutch weaving uses an extra-weft technique, where motifs are skillfully handwoven into the fabric by carefully picking up threads and adding additional weft yarns. This intricate process creates a textured, almost embroidered effect. The patterns are inspired by local culture, village life, and historic architecture.
Where It's Made
Handwoven in Bhujodi, a village in Kutch, Gujarat, these pieces are made from Kala Cotton, a hardy, organic cotton grown without irrigation or pesticides—true to its sustainable roots.
No two pieces are alike—each carries the unique touch of the hands that created it. The slight variations in print and texture are a beautiful reminder of its handmade journey.
